As part of a security enhancement and platform infrastructure upgrade, Tradeshift will move the integration endpoints to new servers. In order to facilitate this change, new IP addresses and server certificates will be associated with our endpoints. In order to make sure that all integration services are functional and reachable, customers and suppliers may need to update configurations.

NOTE:  This announcement covers two separate migrations, one for SFTP/FTPS connections made from our customers and integrated users to Tradeshift, hereafter referred to as TRADESHIFT INBOUND and a second migration relates to the servers that connect in the other direction, from Tradeshift to our customers and their suppliers via SFTP/FTPS/HTTPS.  This second migration will be referred to as TRADESHIFT OUTBOUND.

Please be aware of which affects your particular configuration and refer to the appropriate section or sections below.

TRADESHIFT INBOUND SFTP/FTPS MIGRATION - for connections from your ERP system to Tradeshift

Change details:

  • Service(s) affected: Inbound SFTP AND FTPS integration services

  • Date of server changeover:

    • Production environment: June 11th, at 8 AM UTC / 1 AM PDT

    • Sandbox environment: June 4th, at 8 AM UTC / 1 AM PDT

Why this upgrade?

We are moving servers from Amazon EC2 Classic to VPC and also updating the certificates on our servers to enhance security.

How will this change affect you?

  • Users who connect to our FTPS/SFTP server with the hostname si.tradeshift.com should be able to continue sending documents without changes although may need to flush any DNS caches to ensure they receive the new IP address after the cutover date.  If there are outbound firewall rules that apply to your server that sends documents to Tradeshift, it will need to also be updated to allow traffic to the new IP addresses.

  • Users who validate FTPS certificates will need to update to the attached certificate on the cutover date.

What is the actual change?

Please find below the new and to be removed IP addresses as well as the new FTPS certificate that will be introduced.

TRADESHIFT OUTBOUND SFTP/FTPS MIGRATION - for connections from Tradeshift to your ERP system

Change details:

  • Date of server changeover:

    • Production environment: June 11th, at 8 AM UTC / 1 AM PDT

    • Sandbox environment: June 4th, at 8 AM UTC / 1 AM PDT

  • The new servers will come on line at these dates so please ensure that you accept connections from the new addresses so that documents continue to be delivered properly

Why this upgrade?

We are moving to new servers to increase capacity and enhance security.

How will this change affect you?

Connections will be arriving at your servers from new addresses once the cutover takes place.  As long as your firewall allows connections from the new addresses before the cutover, the change will be transparent.

What is the actual change?

Please find below the new IP addresses from which documents sent to your ERP system will be originated from.  These will need to be allowed to connect to your systems by the cutover date.
