When a tax review assignment is created, and you are the assigned user, a tax review task will pop up into your Task Manager and you’ll receive an email notification.


When you receive a task to review an invoice tax, there are a few actions that you can take.


To view the task, go into your Task Manager and click on the task.






You will be redirected to the invoice submitted for tax review. 


Here you will see a customized error message, indicating the areas that need to be changed in order for the invoice to be submitted again for tax review.






Depending on the customer configuration, you may or may not be able to edit the coding details in the tax review.


When you have resolved the tax error, you can click on the Retrigger Tax Validation button on the bottom right corner of the page.






This will retrigger the invoice to be evaluated again by the external source.


If the external source decides the tax issue is resolved, it will approve it. If it decides the issue is not resolved, it will resend the task to you one more time. 


You can also take some other actions with your tax review task, depending on your needs. Click on the Other actions button to:



  • Forward for approval 

  • Reassign your tax review task 

  • Reject to supplier
