This article explains how you manage your dashboards. Dashboard management includes creating a new dashboard, duplicating a dashboard, and deleting a dashboard.

Creating a dashboard

  1. On the current view of the Insight Center app, select Dashboard options at the top right.
  2. On the menu displayed, select Create new dashboard. A new, blank dashboard is displayed and it is customizable by adding widgets, as described here.
  3. By default, the name of the new dashboard created is My new dashboard. To change the dashboard name, select Dashboard options at the top right.
  4. On the menu displayed, select Rename current dashboard.
  5. Add the new dashboard name in the New name text field displayed, and then click Save. The dashboard is renamed and you are redirected to the main view.

You can create multiple dashboards depending on the needed views and you can switch between dashboards, using the left-hand My dashboards menu.


Duplicating a dashboard

If you want to reuse a dashboard for a similar widget setup or the same widget setup and different time ranges, you have the option to duplicate it, which saves customization time.

To duplicate a dashboard:

  1. In Insight Center, go to the dashboard you want to duplicate, using the My dashboards menu.
  2. Select Dashboard options at the top right, and then select the Duplicate current dashboard option.
  3. The side menu closes, the duplicated dashboard is created and displayed. Note that the it displays the name of the original dashboard, plus (Copy #1). Make sure you rename the duplicated dashboard to differentiate it from the original one.


Deleting a dashboard

  1. In Insight Center, go to the dashboard you want to duplicate, using the My dashboards menu.
  2. Select Dashboard options at the top right, and then select the Delete current dashboard option.
  3. A pop-window opens, prompting you to confirm your deletion. To finish the deletion, select Delete on the pop-window. The dashboard is deleted and you are redirected to the default operational dashboard.
