Tradeshift’s REST-based API exposes the full functionality of the Tradeshift platform. The API access point is represented as an app on the Tradeshift platform. In order to be able to access your account, upload / download documents via API you have to activate the app called "API Access to own Account". You can find this app in the Tradeshift App Store. After the activation the app will provide you with all the connection properties you have to use in order to establish the connection.

The Tradeshift API is a REST based API, using HTTPS and OAuth for security, and idempotent message delivery for reliability.
