    At sign up - what does the error message “company name already exists” mean and what should I do about it?

    If there is already an ‘active’ company on Tradeshift using the same company name  - maybe one of your other branches, for example, you need to alter the company name slightly to make it unique.  A company name can only exist once on Tradeshift  - unless you have a branch structure set up.
    In order to complete the activation of your account, please alter the company name slightly (for example with a dot at the end or your postcode). You can do that at activation stage - the step where it asks you to verify your email address and company name. Once you have altered it here, you can go ahead and proceed.
