    How can I invoice CBRE using Tradeshift?

    In order to start invoicing Tradeshift you will have to have received an invitation to Tradeshift. The invitation would have come from information@tradeshift.com. 
    If you have not yet received an invitation, please get in touch with your FM in order to start the process of receiving one. The reason you would need to use the invitation, is because, by using the invitation you will be set up correctly and connected to the CBRE branches you need to be connected to in order to start invoicing. 
    If you are not the correct person to receive this invitation in your department, but you have received it, you can forward it to the correct person within your department.  They can use the activation link that was sent to you and can change the email address at sign up stage to be their own.
    Once you have signed up and filled in your company details on Tradeshift (go.tradeshift.com), you can start invoicing the CBRE branches you are connected to. You can check which branches you are connected to by clicking on the globe (Network icon)  in the menu on the left hand side. Under the heading “in your network” you will see the branches you are connected to and can invoice.

    Once everything is set up - how do I go about invoicing?

    If you normally receive PO’s from CBRE, you can only invoice via a “PO flip”. In order to do that go to your “documents” tab in the menu bar and look for PO’s received by CBRE.
    If a PO you would like to invoice against is not in the documents tab  please get in touch with your FM.
    To invoice via “PO flip”: 
    1. Click on Documents.
    2. Click on the PO you would like to invoice against.
    3. Click on View Document.
    4. Check the PO.   You may accept the PO - this is optional.  Click on the “create invoice” button.  
    5. This will flip the PO into an invoice with all the items on the PO prefilled. 
    6. Amend the invoice as needed but please ensure to NEVER AMEND THE REQUISITION NUMBER - it has to correspond with the PO Line number on the PO.
    7. Check the quantity of each line and ensure that it is correct.
    8. Check the tax rate of each line and ensure that it is correct.
    9. If freight should be added, select the link to add a ‘discount/charge’ and select ‘charge’.  Type ‘Freight’ in the free form field.  Type the amount of freight in the quantity field and select the currency in the adjacent field.  If shipping is taxable, include the applicable tax rate. 
    10. Check the invoice and click “submit”
    11. The invoice will now be sent to CBRE and change status on the documents tab accordingly.

    If you normally do not receive PO’s from CBRE (CBRE Client of Carlson - only) 
    1. Log into Tradeshift at go.tradeshift.com.
    2. In your menu bar on the left hand side, click “create” and select “invoice”.
    3. Enter all the details in the fields provided.
    4. Check everything and click “submit”.
    5. Your invoice will now be sent to CBRE and processed. You are able to see the invoice and the status of the invoice when you click the “documents” tab in the menu bar
